JOB PURPOSE: To act as the liaison between Business and IT to understand Product and development needs to assist product managers in the development of BRD, Gap Analysis and UAT. Also Business RM to assist in prioritization of projects, ensure that projects align with the technology that best provides maximum return and direct IT strategy in support of the overall business strategy.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & DETAILED TASKS
Business & Technology Support
Liaison with Business and IT to prepare Business and Technical specifications document.
Service Level Agreement (SLA) negotiations and monitoring.
Manage and coordinate activities among different groups.
Be the liaison between the business units, technology teams and support teams.
Actively participate in the evaluation of systems and vender selection process and management.
To develop and maintain complete business environment awareness in his/her area of responsibility.
To proactively identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency by examining and understanding the overall process and business strategy.
Identify & propose the new technology related solutions.
Proactively communicate and collaborate with business teams and IT development teams in order to analyze information needs and functional requirements and deliver the desired IT solution.
Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze trade-offs between usability and performance needs.
Facilitate business and IT meetings and conduct detailed interviews to solicit user requirements which will require business unit validation.
Performed Requirement Analysis by gathering both functional and non-functional requirements based on interactions with the process owners and stake holders and represented them in Requirements Traceability Matrix.
Prepare & Review detailed System specification, Use Case Diagrams, Business Scenario, Screen flow, Wire Frames, test cases and also conducted GAP analysis and documented system and process inconsistencies.
Defined Project requirements by identifying project milestones, phases and elements, monitoring project progress by tracking activity, resolving problems, publishing progress reports and recommending actions.
Worked autonomously on understanding complex systems and modification to existing systems, implemented changes to database structure and business rules.
Given numerous presentations to business users and also trained them to use the Core business software.
