    Dua for breaking the fast

    Dua for breaking the fast

"Dhahaba al-zama wa’btalat al-‘uruq wa thabata al-ajr in sha Allah (Thirst has gone, the veins are moist, and the reward is assured, if Allah wills)."
Classed as Hasan by Sheikh Al-Albaani in Saheeh Abi Dawood

Marwan ibn Salim al-Muqaffa' said: I saw Ibn Umar holding his beard with his hand and cutting what exceeded the handful of it. He (Ibn Umar) said that the Prophet (ﷺ) said when he broke his fast: Thirst has gone, the arteries are moist, and the reward is sure, if Allah wills.

    Sunan Abi Dawud 2357

Recite the Dua as the hadith indicates right after breaking your fast with a sip of water and or date.

    Dua for settling a debt

    Dua for settling a debt

    Allāhummak-finī biḥalālika `an ḥarāmik,
wa 'aghninī bi faḍlika `amman siwāk.

O Allah, suffice me with what You have allowed instead of what You have forbidden,
and make me independent of all others besides You.

    At-Tirmidhi 5/560. Al-Albani, Sahih At-Tirmidhi 3/180.
